Key Events
- On August 8, resistance forces captured a military camp and the commanding officer's family at Ka Tine mountain in Hpakan, Kachin State, following a battle where approximately 80 SAC soldiers were reportedly killed.
- A SAC air strike on Kan Oo Monastery in Sagaing township on August 11 resulted in the deaths of a child and two civilians, alongside the arrest of over 30 others.
- Resistance forces attacked an army camp in a mountainous area of Pyinmana township near Nay Pyi Taw on August 13, resulting in 14 SAC fatalities, including a major.
- On August 14, joint forces of the Chin National Army and CDF-Zophei captured two junta soldiers during a morning clash at a base camp near Thantlang, Chin State.
