This week was marked by a significant increase in military fatalities in Rakhine State and a surge in arson and mass arrests targeting civilians in Mandalay and Sagaing. While the junta held discussions on restricted elections in secure areas, the National Unity Government officially expanded its military command structure into the Ayeyarwady Region.

- December 7: KNLA and joint forces captured the TaungToneLone and SinSwal military posts in Hpa-Pun Township, Kayin State, seizing a 120-mm artillery piece.
