The military responded with a surge in aerial assaults, while massive property destruction was recorded in the Bago and Sagaing regions.
Key Events
- On August 3, the MNDAA confirmed the total capture of the Military Council's Northeast Regional Military Command in Lashio, Northern Shan State.
- On August 6, the TNLA seized the Operations Command Headquarters (1) and two infantry battalions in Kyaukme Township.
- Joint revolutionary forces captured Thabeikkyin town in Mandalay Region on August 25, resulting in the seizure of 68 weapons and the apprehension of a Lieutenant Colonel.
