Arson and mass arrests remained primary tools of civilian repression, particularly affecting Mandalay and Sagaing regions.
Key Events
- Junta forces conducted 97 airstrikes across ten states and regions, with the heaviest concentration occurring in Tanintharyi (26 strikes) and Sagaing (25 strikes).
- Significant military engagements in Karenni State resulted in 100 SAC soldiers killed during 31 recorded clashes, the highest casualty count for junta forces this week.
- A total of 130 civilians were arrested in Sagaing Region, accounting for more than half of the nationwide total of 236 arrests for the period.
