Conflict intensity remained high with 46 clashes and 71 airstrikes recorded across multiple regions, with Chin State experiencing the highest frequency of military engagements. Magway Region suffered the most severe humanitarian impact, accounting for nearly all reported house burnings and the majority of civilian fatalities.
Key Events
- On November 16, the Military Commission announced a regional agreement with China, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam to coordinate actions against scam centers.
- The Karen National Union (KNU) formally expelled former chairman Saw Mutu Say Poe and former district chairman Saw Shwe Maung for participating in a junta-organized NCA anniversary event.
