Significant political developments occurred with the formation of the Karenni State Interim Executive Council (IEC) to oversee administration in resistance-held areas.
Key Events
- June 9: A resistance drone attack involving 15 bombs on the Nyaung Pinwun police station in Sagaing Township killed seven SAC personnel, including a station commander.
- June 10: In Pekon Township, Southern Shan State, the bodies of two young women and their father were discovered after being killed by SAC forces.
- June 11: A SAC mortar attack in Kyaukkyi Township, Bago Region, resulted in the deaths of a monk and two children.
