Sagaing Region continues to bear the brunt of both civilian casualties and airstrikes, while Magway faced the most extensive property destruction due to arson.
Key Events
- Sagaing Region suffered the highest civilian toll with 85 adult fatalities and 11 children killed during military operations in April.
- The Military Council conducted 253 airstrikes nationwide, with the heaviest concentration targeting Sagaing (74 strikes) and Kayin State (40 strikes).
